Surgery of the Abdomen (Abdominoplasty)

Abdominoplasty is a procedure that Dr. Hunstad teaches to plastic surgeons during his annual instructional courses at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has also performed this procedure in over ten countries and throughout the world by invitation. This procedure creates a flat and tight result of the abdomen with significant flattening. The excess fat is removed from above the belly button to within the pubic hair area. The incision typically extends from one hipbone to the other, but is placed very low. The muscles are repositioned to achieve a flat, tight abdomen with dramatic improvement to the waistline and posture. Liposuction is typically performed as well throughout the entire abdomen, hips, and pubic area. These procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis at the Hunstad Center or you can stay in our overnight facility so that all of your needs can be met that first evening by our highly skilled nursing staff .

Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)

The following 34-year-old patient had a full abdominoplasty with liposuction and muscle plication. She also had liposuction performed to her circumferential thighs. She lost 24 pounds of fat and skin during this procedure as well as three dress sizes!
