A Circumferential
Abdominoplasty, sometimes referred to as a Body Lift, is a
procedure which is commonly recommended for patients who have an
excess of fat and/or laxity circumferentially around the
midline. It incorporates the abdominoplasty with the buttock
lift. Excess tissue is removed from around the midline, giving a
greater body contour. In most cases, this is preceded by
thorough liposuction. This procedure will flatten and tighten
the tummy as well as lifting the thighs and buttocks. Dr. Hunstad has been
performing this procedure for many years. He has performed
circumferential body lifting as an invited surgeon in Brussels
Belgium, Rome Italy, Anchorage Alaska, and has performed
advanced abdominoplasty and liposuction procedures in Barcelona
Spain, Tel Aviv Israel, and Québec City Canada. He also
performed an advanced abdominoplasty procedure for the Canadian
Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Vancouver, as an
invited Professor, in September 2005. Dr. Hunstad hopes to share
his expertise in this very demanding field helping you achieve
the most significant result possible. The first circumferential
abdominoplasty he performed was in 1989 and the patient
continues to do extremely well and still has a very beautiful
result.
