Arm Lift, medically known as the Brachioplasty, is an exciting procedure
that can dramatically improve the shape and contour of the arms. It is a
wonderful treatment for patients who have experienced massive weight
loss or who have developed flacidity or laxity of the arms over time.
The surgical procedure can usually be completed in approximately one
hour and postoperative discomfort is minimal. All sutures are placed so
that they dissolve and no stitches are needed to be removed. This leaves
the best scar. The arms can be significantly rejuvenated and a laxity
reversed leading to a taut and beautiful shape and contour.

Here at the
Hunstad Center, we also provide a Mini Brachioplasty option for
those who have only slight laxity of the upper inner arm. During
this procedure, a modest amount of skin is removed from the
armpit area, usually all of the hair-bearing skin. Closure of
this incision creates a "Mini" armlift. This procedure takes
approximately half an hour to perform and recovery time is
minimal.
