Revision
When liposuction irregularities occur,
whether it be following traditional or SmartlipoŽ, you should know
that revision is an option. Dr. Hunstad is a premier body contouring
specialist and is currently employing several methods to correct
irregularities. Depending on your special situation, he may suggest
additional liposuction for thinning, SmartlipoŽ for tightening
and/or fat grafting to fill over-corrected indentations.
The following patient had abdominal liposuction and was left
with residual fat as well as a depression to her left
abdomen. More liposuction as well as fat grafting (filling
using one's own fat cells) was employed to give her a softer
contour.
